Recently, Bayside Council went to community consultation for their proposed Wolli Creek One Way Circuit (Improvements for Walking & Cycling).
The results of the consultation were as follows:
This was finalised through council in late 2018.
BIKEast also suggested that the surrounding roads should be reduced to 40km/hr to support the concept of Safe Street Neighbourhoods.
Option 2 is shown below. The yellow line is the proposed cycleway.
The next steps will be funding for detailed design, and then construction.
