You may have seen our previous Cycling to Sydney Airport post highlighting that the Wentworth Ave shared path doesn’t quite connect to Pagewood / Eastgardens / Banks Ave.
Bayside Council has been working with Transport for NSW and a shared path is being constructed between Baker to Corish.

Note – for the moment the path will end 200m east of Baker Street- as Transport for NSW are working on that intersection as part of additional major works. The remaining shared path connection will be completed following those works – unfortunately quite complex, requiring the undergrounding of power, obstructions and a steep cross grade.
Other upcoming works
We’ve also been informed that another missing link along Botany Rd (from Bronti to Daphne Street) is to begin in the coming weeks.
