Photos from last year’s Thirsty Thursday Tinsel Tour

Last year, Thursday 17 December 2015, we held a silly ride for the silly season. It was all dreamt up at a recent Christmas party so that should explain the name of the ride.

• Easy pace. Lots of separated cycleway. Less than 10km.

• Lights, tinsel, feathers, antlers were optional (but not really optional)

• Riding from Belmore Park to Barangaroo via the Castlereagh-Liverpool-Kent St cycleway.

• Not stopping for views/refreshments at Palisade Hotel rooftop  (well, we planned to but then we felt underdressed)

• Continuing to Chippendale/Kensington St (for dinner) via Pyrmont Bridge and Ultimo.

• After dinner optional extra ride to Martin Place via Town Hall viewing city Christmas light projections
