Coastal scenic ride (hilly on first 1/2) - see Coogee / Maroubra / Long & Little Bays, south to La Perouse; coffee / cake or scones; returning via Yarra Bay cycleway / Matraville / Maroubra / UNSW to BJ. Map. ETA 11.30am.

Starts: 7.30am; Sydney Athletic Field, Dacey Ave
Easy flat morning ride out to Botany Bay skirting around the west of the Airport. Meet beforehand at Bus Stop shelter 25m west of Anzac Pde in Dacey Ave. Half the ride is on cycleways and otherwise mostly along back streets with little traffic (except 300m along Dacey Ave/South Dowling St!). Mostly flat with average speed about 20km/hr. Good coffee break and time to chat at Brighton-le-Sands. All welcome! Maps: out and back.

M7 - WESTLINK CYCLEWAY
Start: 7.30AM
Meet: Centennial Park's Grand Parade Gate near Cnr Lang Rd & Anzac Pde.
Ride to Redfern Station - 2.5km; catch 7.59, or 8.05am train to Liverpool (52min);
Liverpool Station to McDonalds', Preston; for morning tea-coffee.
Re-start at approx., 10.00am for 40km trip along Westlink's M7 cycleway;
to Windsor Rd and on to Seven Hills village;
Lunch: at recommended Seven Hills Indian Restaurant (Masal Dosa with Samba!)
Return: Train to Redfern by next available train return to CP
Ride Grade: Mostly bike lanes or cycleway; Some traffic on roads; Easy, but relatively long being + 60km

Ride streets through Paddington, past Edgecliff Station and through Darling Point to McKell Park for a picnic.
Return via Trumper Park & Paddington.
Bike hire available: Centennial Park Cycles 9398 5027, Grand Drive east of Hamilton Dr, near Rotunda. Meet there 10.00am to arrange hire and try bike, then proceed to start.

Ride to Seaforth (morning tea/coffee), along Wakehurst Parkway, around Narrabeen Lagoon, behind Collaroy Plateau, Dee Why & Curl Curl beaches Harbord and Manly (for Lunch) Manly Ferry return 2.00 or 2.30pm
